Claire's Critters has taken in a wide variety of animals over the years. Here are a few stories of various animals that have been saved at Claire's Critters.

Oliver, the Tuxedo Cat
Oliver was believed to have been abandoned at Claire's Critters overnight several months ago. He showed up at the property in the backyard, scared and alone. He ended up hiding under a nearby trailer for days until he ended up trusting Claire enough to eat some tasty cat foot. He was named Oliver after his namesake in Oliver Twist since he was orphaned and hungry. Oliver ended up becoming quite charming and Claire was originally going to adopt him out since there are already 6 cats at Claire's Critters. However, Oliver came home with an abcess under his eye one night that needed vet and home care. Claire fell in love with Oliver's wonderful and friendly demeanor while caring for him and ended up choosing to adopt him. Buttercup the Affenpinscher dog loves to spend time with him and they have become fast friends. Welcome Oliver!
